Our New Breakfast Tradition

This morning, I opened my eyes to see Max hovering over me, smiling. (That right there is the top reason that I love bed sharing.) Mila wasn’t even awake yet, so she was able to enjoy the same wake-up call as I did.

Anyway, I’m very happy to say that we actually did the breakfast tradition that I’ve been wanting to make permanent. I made Max some waffles and Mila got some oatmeal with apples and cherries mixed in. Before we ate, Max and I held hands and prayed. Then I read a section from “100 Ways to Know God Loves Me!” It was a section about blessings in the form of friends. We listed his friends and then prayed again to thank God for them. So cute.

And so very easy, I have no excuse to not do it everyday.

Thank You, Lord, for this new special time with my children, and with You.

Hey There!

We have started a new blog! My goals for this blog include having 2 writers, my husband, Jeff,  and myself, Lo. I hope to share our journey as attachment parents in a world that pushes detachment and preserve memories for our children in a fun and unique way.
